The clients where already using a light roof shed structure for their industry. The clients came to us with the expectation of just lifting the already existing roof and making room for a mezzanine floor. However due to the presence of asbestoses they decided to go for RCC flat roof. Despite the humble scale of the structure the clients were hoping to project grandeur. For this we have tried to provide various features. A double height entry foyer lined with free standing RCC columns supporting the steel pergola. In the entrance lobby we have created a water feature under the glass flooring. The company provides HVAC solutions and hence throughout the building the various ducting work is exposed and celebrated rather than hidden off. The building also achieved a green certification.
