A career in architecture was serendipitous to me. Having secured a seat in Electronics & communication in Mysore, my desire to be with my family led to shifting from Electronics and communication to architecture at BMS college of Engineering. The five years I spent here made me realize my potential in this creative field. Thus a fortunate twist of fate made me realize my passion for the practice of design. I carried this desire to learn, working with G&D associates, Bangalore for about three years. I honed my skills in the fundamental aspects of design, site supervision/onsite decisions. A chance meeting with my junior from college, Mrs Tara resulted in Anu & Tara Associates taking shape in 1998. It has since been a highly fulfilling journey of 25 years so far with the hope of many more successful years to come.

Tara M.
Passionate about architecture since my early teens, I went on to complete a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) at BMS College of engineering, Bangalore in the year 1991. Upon completion, I joined Deepa and Dinesh Rao architects in Bangalore. Here for about three years, I learnt designing, office management, site coordination and coordination with all agencies involved. I then joined Srinivas and Khan Associates in Bangalore where I learnt more about designing various projects.
It was in the year 1998 that I joined hands with my senior and a good friend Mrs Annapurna A.S. who was equally passionate about architecture and started a partnership firm Anu & Tara Associates.

Our Story
A fortuitous reunion after six years of graduation set a process in motion which culminated with the establishment of Anu & Tara associates as a partnership firm in 1998. Since its inception, our primary purpose has been directed towards providing design & consultancy services in Architecture, Planning & interiors.
The cornerstone of our approach to architectural consulting has been the emphasis on providing holistic design solutions with a focus on sustainable development.

It is this vision and client-centric approach that has enabled us at Anu & Tara associates to complete over 400 projects successfully. The confidence our clients' place in us keeps us motivated in our journey towards being the pioneers in client-centric design innovations.
At Anu & Tara associates, we believe that the architectural design needs to be an amalgamation of aesthetics & utilitarian principles.
