Being a matt building it inherently had to be designed in an Indo-Saracenic style. In addition to this it was a space for congregation and keeping that in mind the planning of the various spaces has been done around a courtyard. Additional kitchen and dining facilities were also provided. The building is located on the Malemahadeshwara Betta and captures beautiful panoramic views.
