The client came to us with two adjoining 40 x 60 sites and the plan was to restrict the structure in a single site while the entire other site would serve as the garden space for the main house. Hence in the planning of it, the house opens up itself on the side. Slab cut-out over the living space enables connectivity within the house while the balcony and the sit out connect the spaces to the garden space. A dynamic flow is hence maintained throughout. For this project we tackled the interior design along with the architecture and so there was the opportunity to weave the spaces in a cohesive language with the plethora of claddings and materials that we used inside and outside the house.
